Future Climate Leaders Experience the Energy Transition in the Field

23 June 2026

As part of our 2026 Future Climate Leaders (FCL) program, participants recently visited our operational sites to gain firsthand insight into the realities of the energy transition.

Future Climate Leaders Experience the Energy Transition in the Field

Designed as an 11-week summer internship program, Future Climate Leaders brings together young talents from different disciplines to work alongside our investment, finance, operations, and commercial teams. Throughout the program, participants contribute to real business projects while gaining practical experience through direct interaction with our people, technologies, and operations.

The site visit represents one of the program's key learning experiences. By observing renewable energy generation processes and ongoing operations firsthand, participants have the opportunity to connect the knowledge they develop throughout the internship with real-world applications. They also engage with experts across different functions, gaining a deeper understanding of how energy projects are developed, managed, and operated.

At Sabanci Climate Ventures, we believe that meaningful learning happens through experience. Field visits play an important role in helping participants better understand the opportunities and challenges shaping the energy transition, while providing valuable exposure to the collaboration and expertise required across the sector.

Through the Future Climate Leaders program, we continue to invest in the next generation of climate and energy professionals, creating opportunities for young talents to learn, contribute, and grow as they prepare to shape the future of the industry.
