Chair
Tolga Kaan Doğancıoğlu is the CEO and Chairman of the Board of Sabancı Climate Technologies, where he leads the company’s global growth and investment strategy with a strong focus on renewable energy and climate technologies. Since 2024, he has played a key role in advancing U.S.-based renewable energy and climate technology investments, contributing to Sabancı Group’s long-term sustainability and energy transition vision.
In addition to his role at Sabancı Climate Technologies, Mr. Doğancıoğlu was appointed President of Strategic Investments and Operations at Sabancı Holding effective January 1, 2026. He also continues to serve as Chairman of the Board of TEMSA & TEMSA Motorlu Araçlar and as a Board Member of Kordsa, Çimsa, and Afyon Çimento. He is widely recognized for his strategic leadership in sustainability, mobility, and energy transition, backed by extensive experience in the industrial, automotive, and energy technologies sectors.
Prior to his current responsibilities, Mr. Doğancıoğlu served as CEO of TEMSA between 2020 and 2024, where he led the company’s transformation journey and strengthened its focus on electric and sustainable mobility solutions.
Before joining Sabancı Group and Kordsa as a senior executive in 2017, Doğancıoğlu held leadership positions across various industries. He began his professional career in 1994 at ASELSAN and later took active roles in national and international projects at ENKA Teknik and Ford Otosan. In 2005, he founded the engineering and design company Hexagon Studio, where he served as General Manager for 12 years.
A graduate of the Mechanical Engineering Department of Middle East Technical University (METU), Mr. Doğancıoğlu completed his MBA at Koç University in 2004. He is fluent in Turkish, English and German and has extensive experience in international business development and multicultural team management.
Married with two children, Doğancıoğlu actively participates in several international business organizations, including TÜSİAD, DTİK, DEİK, and the Turkish-American Business Council.
With more than 30 years of leadership experience in mobility, advanced materials, sustainable energy, and climate technologies, Doğancıoğlu is regarded as one of the key leaders shaping both the transformation journey of the Sabancı Group and global developments in the fields of energy and mobility.
