Vice Chair
İhsan Erbil Bayçöl graduated from Boğaziçi University with a degree in Civil Engineering and completed his MBA at Sabancı University. He also conducted graduate-level studies in Organizational Psychology at Istanbul Bilgi University and completed the Advanced Management Program at WHU Otto Beisheim School of Management. He further supported his academic development with programs in corporate finance, valuation, and executive leadership development.
Starting his career as a Project Control Engineer at the Bechtel-Enka Joint Venture, Bayçöl joined Enerjisa in 2008. Between 2008 and 2018, he served as Strategy and Business Development Director at Enerjisa. During this period, he played a key role as the IPO Team Leader during the company's initial public offering process, led acquisition processes exceeding $5 billion in total value, and managed the development of large-scale power plant investments.
Serving as Deputy General Manager at Enerjisa Üretim between 2018 and 2019, Bayçöl led significant transformation initiatives in thermal assets and information technology. During this time, he spearheaded efforts focused on operational excellence, risk management, and organizational transformation in the management of a diversified generation portfolio.
He has been serving as the CEO of Enerjisa Üretim since 2020. Concurrently, he assumes the responsibilities of Vice Chairman of the Board at Enerjisa Üretim, Chairman of the Board at Enerjisa Enerji, and President of Strategic Investments and Operations at Sabancı Holding. Additionally, he is a Board Member of YASED (International Investors Association).
